Picking the best backpack is a big thing. It will affect how much you can carry at once, how comfortable you are, and even help decide if you are on time or late. Here are some tips and picks from me.
Tip One: Multiple Compartments
You are going to want a backpack that has multiple places to put your stuff in. The Jansport model has a built in pencil case in the front for holding pens and pencils, a pocket with earphone cases for any electronics you have at school, a water bottle holder on the side, a mini pouch for post-its, and two main pockets. With multiple pockets, you can hold more and stay better organized.
Tip Two: Weight Limit
Check the weight limit on the backpack. You are going to want a weight limit over ten so that you can hold a lot, but under thirty so that you don't hurt your back. The ideal is 15-25. The High Sierra example's weight limit is 25 lbs.
Tip Three: Design
My last tip is about style. You want a backpack fits your likes. If you really like plaid, but your friends say thit plaid is weird, still get the plaid backpack. You will have to carry the backpack around all year. You have to like it all year. But your friends will just get used to it and not really think about it. Here is a non-eccentric Jansport plaid backpack that isn't too girly-girl or tom-boy.
